Denton NC AMCA Meet 2014 - Part 2 Friday and Saturday

Rick Najera strikes a pose on the Dirty Nine...

Matt's awesome "46 Knuckle...

I forgot it was a race theme this year...

Before and after?

Is Adam standing in a hole?

Nope...Just paying homage to the Knuckle...

This original paint 1960 Duo-Glide
with 8,000 original Miles was for sale...
Not any more...

Adam and Matt got this baby running in no time

Didn't "smoke up" quit as bad as the Dirty Nine...

...but it kept the bugs away for a minute or two...

Final adjustments...

Won't go into gear...time to get in a little deeper...

Adam needed to tear into the Duo-Glide
to free up the clutch and Ratchet Lid

I was awarded the first ride for some reason...
It runs like like a Swiss Watch!

At the Chapter Cook Out Friday Night...
No Rick Allen is not really running for congress

Someone found these along the road
and brought them in from another state...

Adam and Ricky Najera discuss who knows what...

Folks arriving at the BBQ...

Complete with VW Bus...

Chopper Love...

Quote of the Day
"Hey look...It's 1973 over there"

With Brooklyn Bob...

1938 EL that traded hands...Damn...I missed this one!

Some extra parts that went with the 1938 EL...

Some of the Booty...Kelsey Hayes...
2 Star Hubs and 1 Triumph (I think) and 1 Sportster
All have nice original Kelsey Hayes 16 in H-D Rims...

Picked up this sweet WR Flat Track seat!

Friday and Saturday the weather was fantastic...it was actually a little chilly Friday night. I scored some nice wheels and rims along with a great WR Flat Tracker seat. We spent some time working on Ed's latest 1960 original paint Duo-Glide with 8K on the odometer... Well, Adam did most of the work... A real nice 1938 EL project traded hands that had everyone jealous... There were ton's of parts to choose from and the prices on some stuff was pretty reasonable. The food at the Farm Park is great... Pork Tenderloin on a Biscuit is a must! Everything you need is right there on the grounds, except it's BYOB.
I headed for home around 9 AM on Saturday morning...  I wish I coulda stayed another day but I had to travel north for a family commitment..another great meet in Denton for the 5th year!
If you missed it, you missed out...
