Ahhhhhhhhh....

A few of us met up at Rick's on Halloween to try out the new track improvements...much longer and wider with plenty of dirt and mud. Leigh and I showed up just before 10AM...I was eager to get out there! It was me and Rick on the track in the AM...a few of the folks were out celebrating Mischief Night the previous evening so they showed up around noon...We blasted around out there for 4 or 5 hours and had a great time! How could you not!

This is all I got from the bonfire Saturday night...

Friday was a great day to kick back and prepare for the mayhem to come...load up on adult beverages for the Chopper show and go over the machines one more time...Saturday morning comes early...
Saturday was a blast...newbies figuring out the sand, spectators lining up all the way to the boardwalk and racers chomping at the bit to get sand in their teeth...the tides were great and we ran from about 8am til at least 4pm or so...the weather and conditions were perfect!
Willie G. and Nancy Davidson were in attendance and loved every minute. Jessi Combs land speed record holder and TV star raced the Craftsman car and Wayne Carini from Chasing Classic cars popped in. (Truth be told, I had to google both of them...didn't have a clue).
Everyone seemed to have a great time..
I didn't realize how crappy my picture taking was until I put this post together...Quantity and Quality both suck...Oh well you get the idea...
