Felt bad that I was such a slacker and didn't get the 41 done for Rhinebeck...I began on the carb today. Didn't finish it yet but wanted to fit it on the motor and check things out...41 carb body was painted silver. I just threw that deflector on to get a feel...not sure about it...
I think this finishes up my shots from Rhinebeck 2011. Had a great time again!
The Hudson Valley guys along with the Coalition of Chapters put a ton of work into this meet and do a great job.
The weather was a little funky from time to time and they had to have the Motorcycle Time Line indoors this year but the facility has huge connected buildings with plenty of room to spare.
I may never see this again so I gave them their own post. Two restored 1912 Hendersons in one place! In the bottom picture you can see Frank Westfall's Twelve with the late Mike Smith's Twelve in the background. The top picture is the late Mike Smith's.
Returned from Rhinebeck 2011... Many thrills and spills! and the stunt shows weren't bad either! More on that later if I get the video.
We experienced every type of weather from 100 degrees to rain to wind to cold it was all there in three days. all in all it was a good time even if I didn't buy anything. I have more on Rhinebeck to post later.
