Panheads, BBQ and a nice Ford Pick Up

A friend picked up this old Pan Chopper

The toaster seems a bit out of place...I guess it hides the Bendix...

A different take on forward controls...

Clutching...

Don't leave home without it...

Wild fork stops...

TOPIC CHANGE....
Heather's 1960 Ford over at John's place...BBQ time...

The Black Jersey Pan with the Black Jersey Ford...

A kid got a hold of me at the Cabin Fever Party last weekend to see if I could help him with a Pan chopper he just picked up. We're gonna tear it down and put the motor and trans in a nice wishbone frame he picked up. The kid is in his late 20's. I always like to see younger guys getting into this stuff...He still has his dad's old pan chopper all apart as well. Maybe someday we'll put the wrenches to that one too...

Yesterday Kelly and I took a ride over to my buddy John's new place on the '57 Black Jersey Pan...It was a wet ride, and no front fender and not much of a rear one made for a nice coating of road grime and moisture on her back and my front...The sun came out and dried us up before long...Great time at the BBQ over there...It rained again just in time to wet the roads for a midnightish ride home...Nice!
