A Knucklehead with a bad motor?

I joke around about a UL being a Knucklehead with a bad motor, but I actually love these things...had this 47 U since I was a teenager. If you notice...there is no rear brake drum. I stole it for my 47 FL this past weekend. Now I'll have to put another rear brake set up together for the U.

41 FLTT - It's Go Time..

Finally...today was the day that the 41 FLTT came out of the living room and into the garage for final assembly! I built most of it in the house but now I have to get serious and get this thing done! Exhaust, wiring, finish up the carb, cables, fuel lines, linkage, mount tanks, etc.

Tomorrow will be a full court press...whatever that means...

A Two Fer...

Got two of my favorite Knuckles back on the road this weekend after they laid dormant all summer for one reason or another...

I did get a lot of use outta my 50 Pan and my 46 Barn Stormin' Bobbed Knuckle throughout the year. The 46 cracked the overhead oil line...back to the wrenches...

Dirty Nine (Not so) Preventative Maintenance...

Smushed kickstand bracket

39 EL Kickstand parts removed for replacement of the smushed bracket

Replaced with a piece right outta the Brookfield Care Package!

Fired up the "Dirty Nine" for the first time since last Fall (I think). It was running crappy back then and I parked it. I put a new float in it and found the ground wire pretty much disconnected... Maintenance!

She likes to blow off some steam when she fires up after hibernation!

A Care Package to myself...

I had almost forgotten about the parts I bought up at Brookfield this year. Since I was on my bike, I scrounged up a box and some tape and sent the parts home with brother "Bolt-On". Today I had to go over to Jersey, so I swung by "Bolt- On's" place and retirieved the Faded Glory box.

Nice...a fresh load of consumables that I use constantly...
