While at Jerry's I got myself a van load of birthday presents (more on that later). After spending the night and going to breakfast, Jerry insisted I stop in and see his dad's OHV Hillclimber which now hangs from the ceiling at South East Harley (just SE of Cleveland Ohio). It didn't take much insisting. Kelly and I headed over to SE. The place has a few cool old bikes and great pictures on the wall. I had the great fortune of meeting Paul Meyer Sr. (owner and racer in his day, now in his 80's?). Of course what I came to see was hanging over the parts counter area. WOW! I have many pictures of this bike and the motor, but in person it was amazing. I wanted to get a ladder and climb up for a hands on inspection!
This motor spent a few seasons in my bike over the years. Below is a pic of the bike I have when Larry Sr. was running the OHV in it. I need to give this motor it's own post some time...I have a lot of good info and pictures on it.
More to come...
Nice!!
