Tyler's Panhead Oil Tank - Remove - Fix - Reinstall
Time to remove the oil tank and have it repaired...
Dented and fitting damage
As usual the whole ass end of the bike has to come apart...what fun! Exhaust, oil lines, rear wheel.
Fender brackets and allll the oil tank nuts and bolts...
And after pulling the rear fender off...out it came...and off to Marc at Vintique...
Here it is REPAIRED!!! Nice Job by Marc at Vintique
Although Marc cleaned it out, I do a final flush with hot soapy (dish soap) water in the kitchen sink...you'd be amazed at what still comes out! Then I blow it out and add some WD 40 and slosh that around and drain it...
Back in it goes with allll the nuts and bolts and brackets
New oil lines need a little tweaking...I'll get back to this later
