Found a 1936 18 in wheel with a new 4.00x18 Firestone...
laying around the kitchen
Took the 4.50x18 off the front to install the 4.00x18
Drum swap...
OK 4.00x18 on the front...now the rear...
Off with the fat 16
Now the 4.50x18 goes on the rear
Done...a pair of 18's on the Knuckle for the Flat Track...
(and yes I did remember to take the wrench off the axle nut...)
I felt the need to get the fat 16 off the back of the Knuckle for flat track racing this weekend. I came up with a 1936 step hub wheel that I had a brand new Firestone ANS tire on already. Problem was that it was a 4.00x18 and I had a 4.50x18 on the front of the Knuckle...didn't seem right so I swapped the front and put it on the back and put the 4.00 on the front...good to go!
Love it!
