Want to try advancing the timing on the Flat Track Knucklehead
It is fully advanced and hits the Relay boss...
As you can see...it's a "hard stop"
Rather than pull the magneto and fuck with all that, I figured I could advance it by taking some material off...not the Relay Boss but the magneto...
Marked the Mag with a Sharpie...
Right about there...
Got out my square file...
...and went to work...
A little at a time...
a little more...
What ever this thing is...it works great as a choke!
Fired up the Knuckle and adjusted (filed) from there...
I'll try that for now...
Now with a little more timing in her, she should blast!
