Gettin' Trippie with it...

Had this old purple Big Twin military style rear rack

Noticed it had old chrome underneath so I stripped it...sweet

Installing the rack on the '46 Bob Job, also added a rear stand...

Needed to relocate the tail light

Fitting up

I used head bolts, cylinder base nuts and 45 motor mount spacers as hardware...worked great!

Ended up doing some brake work, tightening chain guard, etc.

Still need to mount the light and plate and secure the rear stand...hhhmmm

Licence plate/rear stand catch /fender flap all in one!

Professionally mounted tail light...

Ready for a test run (that means get a beer)

Oh yeah I mounted a running light on the other side so's not to get rear ended...

Added a brace to the rack (to existing holes) and rigged up an old Army tool bag on the side...

I have been working on getting the '46 in shape to do some traveling. I had this old big twin rack that was painted purple. I noticed it was chrome underneath and stripped it down to some sweet old "P word" (patina) chrome. I like to have a rear stand for travelin' so I installed one and then had to come up with a way to hold up the stand, mount the license plate and tail light. The licence plate made a great catch for the rear stand and also contributes to the rear fender like a flap. I added an additional light for night trippin' an Army tool bag and I'm good to go...
