Somethin's Brewin' Too...Forkage

Fork that came off a Flathead from Uruguay many decades ago

Odd brackets for a front fender...Uruguay Style...

Drilled and tapped but not quite right...

29/64 bit for a 1/2 20 riser screw...

Now normally I would be undoing this type of riser set up...however for this project it is just the ticket...I can use cheap bars so that if they get bent they can be easily replaced. The risers themselves came on a Harley 45 that had the H-D riser clamp set up with these rigid mounted (no rubber) risers. These were home made and had that greenish tinge to them...they are Not a recent aftermarket product...For this project I'm using an early 46 frame and was digging around for an Inline fork when I remembered I had this one. 25 years ago or so, I bought a Flathead that came from Uruguay South America. it had a bunch of weird weld on's and such. This fork had these odd front fender brackets. I just threw it on the back burner...It is perfect for what I need now. I may or may not run a small front fender. I'll have to mock it up and see...

hhhmmmm...
