47 FL Transformation - Brake Drum and Rear Rack

The drum is cut and a new sprocket riveted on...

Nice...got rid of the chrome drum

Rear rack needs dismantling...

Added washers to space out mounting rails...

Finished permanently mounting the rear fender and the rack...
Just need 4 acorn nuts for the saddlebag mounts

Well the nice rear drum I picked up at Brookfield is freshened up with a clean cut and a new sprocket. I can't wait to get that together and done!
I had to dismantle the rear rack and add washers to space the rails a hair wider so they wouldn't rub the fender trim...This rack is a 53403-52 and is designed for the smooth (trim-less) pan rear fender... It's been a bit more of a job then I expected to fit all this crap together but so far so good...
