The "Dirty Nine" does Chincoteague Island...

Virginia is a helmet state (the only down side)

I usually don't show food but the fuckin' oysters down there are phenomenal!

At "The Crab Shack"...ice cold Yuenglings and great seafood...

Somewhere on Assateague Island

Kelly in the latest biker garb... she spent the weekend with a greasy leg...

Decided to hit the beach...

Nice road of packed sand and shells stretched down the peninsula on Assateague Island...

Back on Chincoteague Island

At the docks...

Wow a 57 pan at the Chincoteague Inn!

More great food! Ate this stuff every day...

The boat behind me is a 1938...that also gets used daily...

A '77 Sportster for sale on Chincoteague Island ($2500 seemed a little salty to me)

The dress code at the local bar...(my oldest son wouldn't make the cut on 2,3&4 or 5)

Went down to Chincoteague Island, Virginia this past weekend. The place was great and has an interesting history, wild ponies, dolphins, oyster farms and tons of great seafood and a bunch of watering holes. The one thing I didn't realize was that there was a "Bike Week" in Ocean City Maryland going on about an hour north. Man were there at ton of HOG types everywhere (I got the..."Is that the only way to start that thing?" and stuff like that all weekend)...I did see one '57 pan and met the owner at the bar briefly. The "Dirty Nine" left her "carbon footprint" all over the Island, but people didn't seem to care...It was my first time down there and really nice off season...if I had more time I would have ventured off to the main land a bit...next time...
